Dry Fire 1: Trigger Control

By David Reed @dcrtag · On December 29, 2014

This video demonstrates the importance of proper trigger reset to improve overall trigger control in a dry fire scenario to help shooters master this vital technique. Trigger control is an essential function in delivering accurate and timely defensive fire. Almost every failed shot on the range, or worse, when under life and death stress, can is attributable to a bad front sight focus and/or a poor trigger press.

The one key improvement that shooters can learn and practice in training is a better trigger press.

Using real world students with limited weapons familiarity, we show how to safely and correctly train trigger reset on a variety of common weapons types.
